 日本的DENTORL法（電器裝置和材料控制法）規(guī)定，498種產品進入日本市場必須通過安全認證。其中，165種A類產品應取得菱形的PSE標志，333種B類產品應取得圓形PSE標志。
  從2001年4月1日起 “電氣產品控制法(DENTORL)” 已正式更名為 “電氣產品安全法(DENAN)”。有別于以往的法規(guī)體系的協(xié)定性規(guī)定的控制，新的體系將由非官方的機構來保證產品的安全性。
