安立公司的 MS371A/ A1擁有測量 PCM 系統(tǒng)所必需要大多數(shù)功能，它是一全方位測試量儀器， 可以提高測試效率。PCM 系統(tǒng)的話聲音編碼/解碼的測試需要更多的時間和工作量。MS371A/A1 可儲存所有測試順序步驟及參數(shù)，并可重復(fù)呼叫出來從而大大減小測量時間并提高效率。

它具有GPIB控制功能，與MS120A話路選抉器一起使用，可進行順序的30個話路測試。它還可將測試結(jié)果與參考數(shù)值進行比較，做出判斷并自動以"好"或"不好"來顯示結(jié)果。測量結(jié)果亦可以內(nèi)置的打印機打印出來，如有所需可外接打印機打印測試結(jié)果報告。 

傳統(tǒng)的測試系統(tǒng)，其測試結(jié)果通過個人計算機或外置設(shè)備進行修改，但MS371A/ A1 可以在內(nèi)部完成并印到外部打印機上。

The MS371A/A1 is an overall measuring instrument with many measuring functions for digital primary hierarchy transmission. It can be used to measure:

(1) voice encode/decode performance characteristics
(2) frame alignment/alarm test
(3) bit, code, and frame errors
(4) timing jitter
(5) signalling, etc.
